While promoting his new action film Transporter: Refueled, which arrives in theaters September 4th, Ed Skrein praised his Deadpool co-stars Ryan Reynolds (Green Lantern) and T.J. Miller (Transformers: Age of Extinction) for their ability to ad-lib.
A good example of this was in the trailer, when Skrein’s Ajax/Francis, who is wearing a lab coat, warns Wade, “The one thing that never survives this place is a sense of humor.” Wade sarcastically responds, “We’ll see about that, Posh Spice.” Skrein says that Reynolds came up with many punch lines to that exchange, but “Posh Spice” is the one that stuck.

“The only sad thing about the scene was that Ryan did about seven different versions of that, and being called ‘Posh Spice’ is the only one I’ve seen so far,” Skrein told USA Today. “I hope that some of the other ones come out. Maybe (the filmmakers) will release a blooper reel with all the other alternatives. Ryan is such a funny guy and had so many comedic moments. That was just one of them.”
Skrein added, “When you have people like Ryan Reynolds and T.J. Miller in the movie, you can guarantee that they are going to be riffing. Especially T.J. He was like an uncontrollable substance. He made everyone on the set laugh so much, he had everyone in tears.”
