So far since the debut of The Flash, fans have been treated to live-action takes on Gorilla Grodd, the Rainbow Raider and the Golden Glider, among others.

This show has a fantastic track record of taking patently ridiculous and/or “unfilmable” ideas and making them entertaining.
So…what’s next? Once we get back from the midseason break, what crazy, strange and overall silly ideas from the mythology of The Flash could become a huge menace in the future?
Here are some ideas…!
BIG SIR
When you say “a big, dumb lug,” that’s Big Sir in a nutshell.
The character — real name Dufus P. Ratchet (really) was born with a misfiring pituitary gland that allowed him to grow to monstrous size and strength, without his brain maturing past pre-pubescence.
He has a lot of power and an appetite for destruction, but not much else is going on for him. Typically he works with — and is manipulated by — other groups, either the Injustice League or the Rogues.
TURTLE MAN
Turtle Man, the successor to the Golden Age (Jay Garrick) villain The Turtle, fancied himself the Slowest Man in the World, and created a weapon that he could use to put The Flash into stasis, causing him to hallucinate.
This is kind of the natural extension of the Cold Gun from the TV show, although stasis is obviously a little bit different.

THE TOP
Super-intelligent and possessing the ability to spin at super-speed, The Top is a rogue with ties to the Snart family, and to Henry Allen, in the comics.
That pretty much guarantees that a version of him will show up in the TV series — likely patterned after the less-silly-looking modern take, but we just enjoyed this particular look.
Here’s hoping hell at least keep his top-shaped satellite.
TAR PIT
This is a character who’s basically a walking blob.
The difference between Tar Pit and other, similar characters who do have similar powers is that he’s constantly so hot he’s flaming, giving him essentially powers that ape both Clayface and Human Torch.
It’s really hard to imagine just how they would pull off this character visually without it looking a bit like Pizza the Hutt from Spaceballs, but if they manage it, it could be pretty cool.
MOPEE
While not technically a villain, this would be probably the worst, dopiest idea they could bring into the show.
So, of course, one has to wonder if they’d do it just to challenge themselves.
Presented as a kind of low-IQ version of Clarence from It’s a Wonderful Life, Mopee appeared once and claimed that he was responsible for Barry’s origin — which would tie into Oliver Queen’s comments that the lightning “chose” Barry.
He was only referenced in jest after that one issue, though, so if he were to appear on TV, it’s hard to guess what they’d do with it besides just dropping a name.
