Forget Tesla—this is the ride of the future.

The electric, neon-flashing motorcycle from 2010’s Tron: Legacy has officially escaped the digital realm thanks to this insanely accurate–and functional– custom-built bike. Powered by a 96 volt, direct-drive electric motor with lithium batteries and a computer-controlled throttle, this bike is completely road-worthy, and–assuming you can insure the thing. You can’t plug it into your WiiU for some Mario Kart action, unfortunately, but we’ll take what we can get.

Unsurprisingly, the bike was just auctioned off for the bank-breaking price of $77,000. We’re assuming that lucky buyer is going to have to take it easy at the arcades for a while.

What do you think of the Tron cycle? How much would you spend for the ride? Sound off in the comments below!
