Fans are still looking everywhere for clues that Jon Snow will return in Season 6 of Game of Thrones, and HBO may have provided one in the form of a toy sale.

The sale “In Memorium” discounts a large selection of toys and merchandise related to dearly departed characters from the show. Conspicuously, there are zero Jon Snow items being marked down for the sale, which could be taken as a sign that he is not so dearly departed.
There are other explanations for his absence. It could be argued that no other character who has been killed in the series so far comes close to matching the popularity of Jon. Perhaps, compared to these other corpses, Jon’s merchandise sells well enough on its own that HBO just doesn’t have a compelling reason to discount it. Meanwhile, a one season wonder like Khal Drogo might need a little help.
However, if HBO was really trying to sell Jon’s death, including him in this sale probably would have been a good way to prop that notion up, especially after Kit Harrington showed up in Belfast just in time for the first script reading.
Of course, fans can keep jumping at every curly-haired shadow and clue that pops up on the internet between now and the Season 6 premiere, but nobody will know anything for sure unitl Jon Snow shows up in another episode. Or doesn’t.
Game of Thrones will return to HBO in 2016.
