On February 2, The Drama League of New York honored the long and storied career of film and stage actor James Earle Jones the black-tie Musical Celebration of Broadway event.
As part of that honor, Star Wars creator George Lucas made a video appearance to thank Jones for providing the voice of the Darth Vader. Lucas also revealed some “long lost” audition, featuring several noteworthy actors delivering iconic Darth Vader lines, including Lucas’s first choice for the role, Angela Lansbury.
