Two things that you need to know about GI Joe 2: Retaliation. First thing, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is in the movie. Second thing, Bruce “Diehard” Willis is in the movie. Those two things alone mean that GI Joe 2: Retaliation will be a much better movie than the first GI Joe movie. Paramount Pictures get this and that’s why they heavily feature Johnson and Willis in their Super Bowl commercial for the movie.The GI Joe 2: Retaliation trailer kicks off with Dwayne Johnson saying, “In the immortal words of Jay-Z, whatever deity may guide my life, dear lord don’t let me die tonight.” Jay-Z’s song “Don’t Let Me Die” also plays in the background on the trailer, which meshes well with all the action sequences involving guns, ninjas, and explosions.
