Fox and DC Entertainment have released the first part of the five part motion comic that will bridge the gap between the first half of Gotham Season 2, “Rise of the Villains,” and the second half, “Wrath of the Villains.”

The installments will air weekly during The X-Files, with the final installment accompanying the midseason premiere on Feb. 29, but each will be released early online via IGN.

The Gotham Season 2 motion comic features the voices of Gotham stars Robin Lord Taylor (Penguin), Camren Bicondova (Cat), Nathan Darrow (Victor Fries), Ben McKenzie (Jim Gordon) and Donal Logue (Harvey Bullock).
Once complete, the Gotham motion comic will also be released in a collector’s print edition.
