When you’re the star of the #1 movie year to date in the United States, life is good. You get invited to do a lot of things and make a lot of appearances.
Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt was recently given the opportunity to sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the 7th-inning stretch at Wrigley Field during a Chicago Cubs game. He did a great job, and the crowd really seemed to get into his performance.

Pratt was also invited to throw out the first pitch of the ballgame between the Chicago Cubs and the Milwaukee Brewers. While Pratt is a great actor and a pretty good singer, a ballplayer he is not.
According to EOnline, Pratt joked, “Of the four sports I played, as maybe you could have picked up by my first pitch today, baseball was my fourth best sport.” Ironically, Pratt played a baseball player in 2011’s Moneyball.
While Pratt wore a Cubs jersey, he opted for a Groot hat, which is the name of Vin Diesel’s character in Guardians of the Galaxy and also a Chicago waste management company.
