While Hugh Jackman is not under contract with 20th Century Fox to play the Wolverine after X-Men: Days Of Future Past, it doesn’t look like the actor plans to give up the role anytime soon. In an interview with Fandango, Hugh Jackman said, “I’m enjoying it more than ever, so that’s sort of what amazes me more than anything.”Jackman continued, “I think that there’s a lot to the character that I keep finding. Shooting now with Bryan Singer, the original cast, as well as this incredible younger cast every day, I’m like, ‘This is the best ensemble I’ve ever worked with, and it’s in a comic book movie with a great, great director. This is good.’”Jackman added, “They are going to have to pry this role out of my handsโฆtrust meโฆor the claws.” The Wolverine is being released in movie theaters on July 26, 2013, while X-Men: Days Of Future Past is scheduled to arrive in movie theaters on May 23, 2014.
