Jonathan Nolan Doesn’t Rule Out a DC Comics Return Down the Road, But He and His Brother Aren’t Involved Now

“I love those guys and my brother was involved in Man of Steel with Zack [Snyder] and David [Goyer],” said Nolan in an interview in support of the brothers’ upcoming film, Interstellar. “I kind of feel like that chapter for us is closed.”

That said, according to the interviewer, he didn’t rule out the possibility of an eventual return to the DC Universe.

“To be continued somewhere farther down the line?” Nolan suggested. “Maybe.”
