As SlashFilm notes, the latest installment in the Jurassic Park franchise could release a trailer sometime in late November. The site doesn’t list any concrete sources, but says that their information stems from “interesting rumors.” This would bump the trailer ahead of its oft-rumored December release. Latino Post reported that Universal was supposed to release the trailer at the beginning of the month, but pushed it back in favor of the Furious 7 trailer. But with less than two weeks left in the month, viewers should see a concrete date soon enough.
To help stem everyone’s appetite, SlashFilm also released a first-look at one of the film’s new dinosaurs. The dinosaur is reportedly an all-new species, crafted in a laboratory by Jurassic Park’s geneticists. Based on the dinosaur’s leaked LEGO images, it looks like a species similar to an albino Tyrannosaurous Rex, but possibly smaller.
Jurassic World is directed by Colin Trevorrow and star Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Jake Johnson. Taking place twenty-two years after the events of the original Jurassic Park film, Jurassic World finds the park finally functioning as the park’s architect, John Hammond, envisioned. It is set for a June 12, 2015 release.
