Thomas Mann (Me and Early and the Dying Girl) is in final negotiations to join the cast of Kong: Skull Island, Variety reports.

Mann will Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, and latest addition John Goodman for the King Kong prequel. John Vogt-Roberts will direct.
The film is said to follow Hiddleston’s character as he mans a rescue mission searching for his brother, who lost on the island while searching for a panacea called Titan. Man’s character will be part of the rescue operation.
