Lego’s Ninjago Release Date Set As September 23, 2016

Warner Bros. has set the release date for the LEGO Ninjago movie as September 23, 2016.While not a direct sequel to the incredibly successful LEGO Movie, the film will be the first step in a proposed shared LEGO film universe.Charlie Bean is directing the film with Dan and Kevin Hageman penning the script.The film will be released less than a year before The LEGO Movie 2. If these films are as successful as the original LEGO Movie then it should cement LEGO as a new power player at the box office.
