Last season, Luke Mitchell (The Tomorrow People) made his Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. debut, playing Lincoln the Inhuman with the ability to manipulate electric currents, who has been assigned to help Skye/Daisy (Chloe Bennet) transition into her new super-powered life. By the end of Season 2, Lincoln had encountered plenty of heart-stopping moments (Pun intended!), but will Season 3 be even more difficult for him?

“It’s going to be difficult,” Mitchell told Collider when they asked what can we expect from Lincoln’s journey in the upcoming season. “I’m really excited about Season 3. I’d love to tell you so many things right now, but I can’t. I’m very, very excited about what I’ve been reading and what I’ve been doing on set. The whole vibe and dynamic for Season 3 feels very new and fresh and exciting. Obviously, you’re going to get to see a lot more of Lincoln. You’re going to get to see different sides of Lincoln. He was introduced in Season 2 with a very specific purpose, and that purpose was to help Skye transition. He was also within the Inhuman hierarchy at Afterlife. In Season 3, Afterlife is no more and that Inhuman hierarchy is no more. Lincoln is a man without a country, so to speak. He feels betrayed, but he also feels guilty. That’s really going to force him to try to work out the best course of action for him and what that means for his humanity, no pun intended. He needs to find out who he is, as a man, and where he stands, and all of that stuff. That might not be the easiest path.”

Mitchell can next be seen in the crime-thriller 7 Minutes, which is currently available on iTunes and On Demand, and will be out on Blu-ray/DVD on September 1st.
