The series is already generating a lot of buzz and some high praise, including from one of the biggest names in creator-owned (and Marvel) comics right now, Rick Remender.
“Men of Wrath by Jason Aaron and Ron Garney is a gut punch of down and dirty crime that made me flinch,” Remender tweeted. “Masterful stuff you really can’t miss.”
Launched in 2004, Marvel’s Icon imprint is designed specifically for top-tier creators to tell creator-owned stories featuring their own characters and creations. Producing critically acclaimed titles such as Kick-Ass, Powers, The United State of Murder Inc. and more, Icon has become Marvel’s answer to DC’s long-running Vertigo imprint.
