Marvel Comics has revealed Skottie Young’s variant cover for Kanan: The Last Padawan #1, the new Star Wars series detailing the past adventures of Star Wars Rebels’ “cowboy Jedi.” The first story in the new ongoing series is written by Star Wars Rebels writer and executive producer Greg Weisman, and features art by Pepe Larraz.

Kanan: The Last Padawan goes back to Kanan’s youth, when he was still known as Caleb Dume. As a padawan, Caleb watched his master, Depa Billaba, cut down after Order 66 was given. Now, see how Caleb survived, and lived to become Kanan Jarrus, captain of the Ghost.
Young previous provided interlocking covers for Marvel’s first three new Star Wars comics: Star Wars #1, Darth Vader #1, and Princess Leia #1.
