Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War Minimate Figures Revealed

Marvel has released a look at the minimate companions based on the characters of Captain America: Civil War.

The sets arrive in Spring of 2016 with a handful of two-packs to help complete your collection – Captain America with Winter Soldier, Iron Man with Black Panther, and (a comic shop exclusive) War Machine with Guard. A rare, one-per-case variant two-pack of Battle-Damaged War Machine with Guard will also be available, to so be on the look out!

Toys”R”Us will carry an exclusive set of Vision with Hawkeye.

Each Minimates mini-figure stands 2″ tall with 14 points of articulation, and features fully interchangeable parts and accessories. Also, each two-pack comes packaged in a full-color window box with an SRP of $9.99.

These new figures, unlike LEGO and Funko, offer no spoilers for Civil War. That means no Spider-Man figure or other characters we’re expecting to pop up on screen.

Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
