Mel Gibson Appeared At The Mad Max: Fury Road Premiere

In a surprising appearance, Mel Gibson, the original Mad Max, made a cameo at the premiere of Mad Max: Fury Road. Gibson posed alongside director George Miller and this generation’s Max, Tom Hardy as reported by the movie’s official twitter. 

“From one Max to the next. Mel Gibson makes a surprise appearance at the #MadMax premiere!”

The original Mad Max came out in 1979, helping launch Gibson’s career as the movie reached cult status. 

Mad Max: Fury Road opens in theaters May 15th.
