Universal Studios has officially announced “Skull Island: Reign of King Kong,” a new ride opening in summer 2016.
The ride invites guets to navigate jungles, explore ancient temples and deal with hostile natives before entering caves inhabited by prehistoric creatures, unspeakable terrors, and the come face-to-face with Kong himself.

The ride will open ahead of Legendary and Universal’s 2017 film Kong: Skull Island, which will star Tom Hiddleston, Michael Keaton, and J.K. Simmons.
