The much anticipated Assassin’s Creed film starring Michael Fassbender has released a new photo.
The still shows Fassbender’s character Callum Lynch, his character in the present day, in his cell, presumably sketching some additional pictures to go on the wall. You can see in the shot that there are already numerous drawings littering his cell, which are most likely fractured moments and faces in the time of his Assassin ancestor Aguilar.

We don’t know if he has already been hooked up to the Animus at this point, but most likely he has, just as in the original Assassin’s Creed.
The Justin Kurzel directed picture is set to release on December 21st this year.
