On Thursday, a fully-operational bar, that is a recreation of the Mos Eisley Cantina from Star Wars, opened its doors to customers at Bowlers Exhibition Centre, Trafford Park, Manchester. The bar was created as part of the upcoming, “For the Love of the Force” event, an independent Star Wars fan convention taking place from December 4th to December 6th.

Sip on some Bantha (Blue/Tatooine) milk, or any of the other Star Wars-themed cocktails (list below), while you and your friends pose next to a dead Greedo and argue over who shot first … while doing a shot.

  • Bantha Milk: Irish Meadow Country Cream, Red Square Vodka and blue food colouring
  • Wookie Juice: Red Square Sloe Vodka, lemon juice and sugar syrup
  • Princess Punch: vodka, elderflower cordial, lemon juice and soda
  • Jam Jar Binks: Red Square Toffee Vodka with apple schnapps and lemon juice

If dimly-lit taverns aren’t your thing, you can explore a recreated Ewok village, Yoda’s Dagobah swamp and Jabba The Hutt’s palace, that features an 8-foot model of the “Bloated One.” Or take a seat in a full-scale replica of an X-Wing Starfighter.
