Supergirls unite! Earlier today, Glee and Whiplash actress Melissa Benoist tweeted a photo of herself posing with Helen Slater (“The Legend of Billie Jean”).

What makes this so remarkable is that Benoist will play Supergirl in the upcoming CBS television seriesand Helen Slater previously played the Kryptonian superheroine in TriStar’s 1984 film Supergirl.
Also, they’ll be working together on CBS’ Supergirl. Last week, it was announced that Slater has a “mystery role” in the show, along with former Superman Dean Cain.
