Ophelia Lovibond Cast In Guardians Of The Galaxy

While director James Gunn isn’t officially confirming anyone outside of Chris Pratt, lots of rumors have been circulating about new Guardians of the Galaxy cast members. As first reported on Comicbook.com, The Walking Dead’s Michael Rooker met with James Gunn in London last week, even though Rooker wasn’t able to officially comment on if he had a role in the movie at this past weekend’s Fan Expo Vancouver.Now, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Ophelia Lovibond has been cast in a supporting role in Guardians of the Galaxy. Reportedly, Ophelia Lovibond will be playing an aide to The Collector, a near-immortal being who collects interesting artifacts and life forms from around the universe. The Collector’s real name is Taneleer Tivan, and he has a daughter named Carina. Could Ophelia Lovibond be playing Carina?Guardians of the Galaxy is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on August 1, 2014.
