Finding Dory won the People’s Choice Award for favorite family movie tonight at the People’s Choice Awards in Hollywood.

The series beat out stiff competition from fellow nominees Alice Through the Looking Glass, The Jungle Book, The Secret Life of Pets, and Zootopia.

Combined with a number of other awards she earned tonight, the film’s star, Ellen DeGeneres, became the most-awarded People’s Choice recipient since the awards came to be.

Its all-star voice cast also includes Ed O’Neill (Modern Family), Kaitlin Olson (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Ty Burrell (Modern Family), Eugene Levy (Schitt’s Creek), and Diane Keaton (Love the Coopers).

Disney•Pixar’s Finding Dory, swims home just in time for the holidays on Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA) on Oct. 25 and on Blu-ray 3D™, Blu-ray, DVD and On-Demand on Nov. 15.

The People’s Choice Awards are voted on by fans at the Awards website. They are airing live tonight on CBS starting at 9 p.m. ET.
