Rick Baker Shows Off More Joker And Harley Quinn Halloween Costumes

That Rick Baker is a real joker!

Rick Baker officially retired this year, but that hasn’t stopped the 7-time Oscar-winner from applying his craft. Yesterday, the makeup effects guru revealed that he transformed his daughter Veronica into The Joker from The Killing Joke and now he has revealed the Halloween transformations he came up with for himself, his wife, his other daughter and her boyfriend.

All of their Halloween costumes are Joker-oriented. Rick became The Joker from Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s Death of the Family. He’s been a fan of the design for quite some time, even produced a photoshop model of him.His wife Silvia dressed up as The Joker’s girlfriend, Harley Quinn. She wore the court jester-version of Harley’s costume. It included a giant mallet. His daughter Rebecca was done up to look like Heath Ledger’s Joker as he appeared in Christopher Nolan’s masterpiece The Dark Knight. Lastly, her boyfriend is Gwynplaine (played by Conrad Veidt) from the 1928 film The Man Who Laughs, which is the character most cited as the inspiration for The Clown Prince of Crime.
