In a new episode of TVLine‘s Spoiler Alert!, longtime J.J. Abrams collaborator Keri Russell told columnist (and her former co-star, apparently) Michael Ausiello that she would do anything Abrams wanted on Star Wars Episode VII.”Anyone he lets me play. I’m waiting for my call”, said the actress, who self-identifies as a Star Wars fan. “I would do anything for J.J. Honestly I would do craft service.”There’s probably not much chance of that, what with union rules being as they are, but Abrams has to be happy to know he’s got the option open to him.Heck, he’s probably just happy to have Russell excited to join up with him–especially with rumors swirling that the lead character in the new Star Wars film will be a female.Check out the full interview below.
