The mysterious Constable Zuvio, who was revealed first in a toy leak from Hasbro, has been officially revealed by Empire magazine, who kind of cheats when it comes to getting Star Wars: The Force Awakens scoop by nature of their magazine’s name.

The character has only been officially mentioned by Lucasfilm (no capital F, Empire!) twice up until now. On the official StarWars.com Databank, his character description reads, “A vigilant law officer on a mostly lawless world, the tough and humorless Constable Zuvio keeps order in a frontier trading post.”

That frontier trading post, despite confusion elsewhere, is in fact Jakku, which Lucasfilm officially announced at their books panel at NYCC. The character will appear in a short story by Landry Walker called “High Noon at Jakku.” The story will be published in Tales from a Galaxy Far, Far Away on April 26, 2016, but if you like your books electronically, eBook release of the story is November 24, 2015, making it his first official appearance.

“A renegade droid causes problems for Constable Zuvio on Jakku,” is the official description of “High Noon at Jakku.”

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens December 18, 2015.
