With season three yet to premiere, Nickelodeon has renewed the CG-animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for a fourth season. The order is for 20 new episodes of the latest television iteration of the Turtles, which was ranked among the top five animated series in the first quarter of 2014.

Beginning in season three, Robot Chicken creator Seth Green joins the voice cast as of Leonardo alongside Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings) as Raphael, Rob Paulsen (Pinky and the Brain) as Donatello, Greg Cipes (Teen Titans) as Michelangelo, Mae Whitman (Parenthood) as April O’Neil, Hoon Lee (Royal Pains) as Master Splinter and Kevin Michael Richardson (Penguins of Madagascar) as Shredder. Recurring cast members include Josh Peck (Drake & Josh) as Casey Jones and Corey Feldman (The Goonies) as Slash.

“The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been a global hit, maintaining impressive numbers across the network’s ratings and our digital and consumer products platforms,” said Russell Hicks, President, Content Development and Production, Nickelodeon. “While new episodes will continue to debut on Nickelodeon, we look forward to propelling the momentum with a fourth season for our loyal fans.”

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles season three will debut this fall, with season four expected to debut in fall 2015.
