The CW has released a new, updated programming schedule for next Tuesday, October 6, revealing that The Flash will run for an extra thirty seconds at the end of the episode, which will eat into the first thirty seconds of the Season Two premiere of iZombie.

Since advance previews released to the press don’t indicate a longer-than-usual episode of The Flash, it seems most likely that the thirty seconds will constitute a look forward at either Season Two of The Flash, the premiere of Arrow the following day, or perhaps even DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, which will premiere in 2016, and from which no official footage has yet been released.

(A teaser for Legends of Tomorrow has been released, but that material was shot for the ad and is not part of the pilot script.)

Earlier today, a thirty-second spot for The Flash which showed footage from beyond the first episode of the season was released, has been removed from The CW’s YouTube page following news stories that it spoiled a plot point in Legends of Tomorrow.
