Despite still not revealing the fate of Glenn, the November 15 Daryl-heavy sixth episode of the sixth season of The Walking Dead drew 12.9 million total viewers with 8.3 million among adults 18-49 for a 6.51 rating. The show saw a slight rise of 3% in its overall audience and 5% in the demo.

Compared to last year’s November 16 sixth episode of season five, this Sundays Always Accountable episode fell 8% in total viewership and 11% in the key demo.

The Walking Dead faced a juggernaut again this week, though, with Sunday Night Football showcasing a close game between the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks which was decided 39-32 in the Cardinals’ favor. The game drew a 7.0 rating in the 18-49s, a 7% gain over The Walking Dead, at 19.4 million total viewers.

Into The Badlands, which pushed The Walking Dead‘s after-show, Talking Dead, back an hour, debuted strongly with its series premiere. 6.4 million viewers tuned in following The Waking Dead, 3.9 million of which were in the key demo, for a 3.15 rating. The premiere had a 52% drop off from it’s Walking Dead lead-in but, nevertheless, earned the title of highest rate new show this fall.

Expect a rise in those The Walking Dead‘s ratings, as it is hugely popular among folks who like to DVR shows and watch later, and the Live+3 numbers aren’t accounted for yet.

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 PM ET on AMC.
