What do you get the co-star who has everything for Christmas?

Why, a big severed head, of course.
Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon on AMC’s The Walking Dead, Tweeted a photo of a prop zombie head and spinal cord. The gloriously gruesome anatomy lesson, Reedus said, was an early Christmas gift from The Walking Dead’s special effects and makeup artist, Greg Nicotero.

Eagle-eyed observers may recall the skull from this season’s episode, “Crossed.” In a particular display of savagery, Daryl uses the skull to beat an Atlanta police officer who was foolish enough to pick a fight with Mr. Dixon.
Nicotero has an extensive resume in special effects and makeup artistry, especially when it comes to the science fiction and comic book genres. He’s worked on 57 episodes of The Walking Dead, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, This Is The End, and Hemlock Grove.
All we know is, this would make a perfect stocking stuffer…if Jack Skellington hijacked Christmas again.
The Walking Dead returns to AMC on February 8th at 9:00 p.m. on AMC.
