As is tradition for Transformers movies, Age of Extinction will open just before the Independence Day holiday. Unlike previous Transformers films, Age of Extinction stars an entirely new human cast, with Mark Wahlberg replacing Shia LeBouf as the series’ leading man. Michael Bay returns to direct his fourthย Transformers movie.

In Transformers: Age of Extinction, an automobile mechanic and his daughter make a discovery that brings down the Autobots and Decepticons – and a paranoid government official – on them.

Transformers: Age of Extinction comes to theaters June 27.
