Westworld has a lot of explaining to do in it’s next episode – Trompe L’Oeil. Especially after leaving audiences guessing whether Elsie is dead or alive and who is behind awakening the hosts. As the series starts to unravel, we just end up with more burning questions that keep us coming back for more.

Trompe-l’ลil (French for “deceive the eye”)is an art technique that uses realistic imagery to create the optical illusion that the depicted objects exist in three dimensions. Forced perspective is a comparable illusion in architecture.
