In X-Men: Days Of Future Past, Hugh Jackman will appear in a film as Wolverine for the sixth time, but it may also be his last time. While Jackman once claimed that the Wolverine role would have to be pried out of his claws, he seems to now be coming to peace with idea that his Wolverine days might soon be over.”It may be the last,” Jackman said in an interview with MTV. “And by the way, it didn’t hit me until three weeks before the end [of filming X-Men: Days Of Future Past], because we promoted The Wolverine and I came back on set with three weeks to go, and that’s when I went, ‘Well, who knows? Maybe there’s no more Wolverine. Maybe this is it. Who knows? Maybe.’ So I really made the most of those last few weeks. I enjoyed every time I put the claws on.”Realizing that he might be ending his career as Wolverine, Jackman also made sure that he didn’t leave the set empty-handed. “I nicked everything off the set,” Jackman said. “Because everyone nicks everything off those things, but I made sure I nicked the best stuff.”X-Men: Days Of Future Past is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on May 23, 2014.
