Katie Aselton has joined the cast of Legion, the X-Men TV pilot coming to FX. She joins Dan Stevens, Aubrey Plaza and Jean Smart in the pilot from Fargo‘s Noah Hawley.

Legion focuses on David Haller (Stevens), a character based on Professor X’s son from the Marvel comics universe. David is a powerful mutant with multiple personalities, and each of those personalities controls a different aspect of his powers.
Aselton, best known for her role on FX’s The League, will play Amy, a fellow inmate at David’s mental health institute who proves to be an inspiring presence.
Legion is expected to premiere on FX in 2016.
