Whereas DC Comicsโ Green Lantern Corps are fueled by willpower, the Red Lantern Corps are powered by the unstable emotion of rage. One of the few survivors of an intergalactic genocide, the alien Atrocitus harnessed his hatred and desire for revenge to forge the first Red Lantern rings. With hundreds of followers, Atrocitus seeks to wipe out injustice across the universe through violent retribution. These rings seek out people who feel an unrelenting anger and a desire to exact vengeance against those who have wronged them. Should any of these Red Lantern rings find themselves in the Marvel Universe, several heroes and villains would be ideal additions to the Red Lantern Corps.

The Red Lantern rings have several unique properties that make them particularly dangerous. They amplify the userโs anger, often causing them to enter a blind rage. The rings also take over the function of the heart and replace the userโs blood with molten-hot plasma. If these Marvel characters were to get their hands on Red Lantern rings, they would transform into nightmarish creatures of hate.
5) Wolverine

Logan, aka Wolverine, is the best there is at what he does, and what he does isnโt very nice. Logan has carved through countless enemies with his adamantium claws, all while being fueled by his animalistic fury. Having lived over a hundred years, Loganโs life has been a constant state of loss and trauma. Many of his loved ones have died and he has been the subject of torturous government experiments. These traumas helped to shape Loganโs legendary temper and drive for vengeance. When he lets go of his humanity, Wolverine enters into a state of Berserker Rage, where he becomes a nearly unstoppable killing machine with no sense of pain or mercy. Although Logan does his best to fight these primal instincts, a Red Lantern ring would sense the burning anger within his soul and would make it more difficult for Logan to control his rage.
4) Sabretooth

Unlike Wolverine, his archnemesis Victor Creed, aka Sabretooth, fully embraces his animalistic rage. Victorโs hatred for Logan drives his entire identity, as he will stop at nothing to make the X-Manโs life a living nightmare. The sparking incident that generated this rage is when Wolverine killed Victorโs younger brother, Saul. Their rivalry continued when both were members of the Weapon X program, and they constantly sought to outdo each other. Furthermore, Victor abhors the idea of Logan suppressing his animalistic side, whereas Victor revels in it. Victor willingly allows his anger and resentment to control his life, which is precisely the type of person that the Red Lanterns seek to recruit into their ranks.
3) Gorr the God Butcher

Like virtually all Red Lanterns, Gorrโs life is defined by tragedy and righteous fury. Gorr was a profoundly religious alien who lived on a dying world. He prayed to the gods to save his people. But his prayers went unanswered, particularly with the tragic deaths of his wife and children. When Gorr discovered that the gods were real but intentionally chose not to help him or his people, he began a one-man war across all time and space. Armed with the mystical Necrosword, Gorr sought to kill every deity in existence because he viewed them as cruel and fickle. The hate Gorr feels towards the gods is practically unmatched. With his deep desire to seek vengeance and retribution for the loss of his family, Gorr would make for a fine and chilling addition to the Red Lantern Corps.
2) Punisher

The mob murder of his family turned U.S Marine veteran Frank Castle into the Punisher, the scourge of all criminals. Rage fuels Frankโs entire existence. His lifeโs work now is only to kill every evildoer he can. He has completely abandoned any semblance of a civilian life and dedicated every waking moment to his mission of vengeance. Like virtually all Red Lanterns, Frank suffered from a profound loss that sparked an unending rage in his heart. Nothing short of death will stop him from continuing his path of destruction. Itโs this dedication to vengeance that makes Punisher an ideal candidate who would undoubtedly use the Red Lantern ring to further his mission to set the criminal underworld ablaze.
1) Hulk

Was there ever any doubt who in Marvel would most fit the bill to join the rage-fueled Red Lantern Corps? The Hulk is the personification of Bruce Bannerโs repressed rage from his abusive upbringing. While, for the most part, the Hulk uses his limitless strength for good, his fury can cause him to enter a blind and uncontrollable rage, destroying everything in his path. Like all Red Lanterns, the Hulkโs strength is directly correlated to his anger. The angrier the Hulk gets, the stronger he becomes, with no apparent limit. In his most powerful form, World Breaker Hulk, the Jolly Green Giant can shatter planets and topple gods. As the Red Lantern ring multiplies the userโs strength and rage, if Hulk were to acquire one, his power would skyrocket to the point that he would become an unstoppable force of nature.
