With numerous major characters dying in the issue, it was easy to miss a jokey bit of dialogue in last week’s Savage Dragon #225, but we’d be remiss if we did not point out that it appears Lucy Lane (Lois’s sister) and Jimmy Olsen are married in Savage Dragon continuity.

The revelation came when Craig, Malcolm and Maxine’s building super, was discussing the various problems being caused by the merging of multiple realities. Characters were suddenly remembering events from multiple timelines, and while most of them were fairly minor changes, some of them were a bit more dramatic.
Lucy and Jimmy have had an on-again, off-again romance in various iterations of the Superman mythology, including most recently on the Supergirl TV series, where the pair are played by Mehcad Brooks and Jenna Dewan-Tatum, respectively.
In Savage Dragon, apparently Jimmy and Lucy Olsen were having multiverse-related (or possibly not?) issues when it was discovered that “Clark” was sleeping with Lucy and Jimmy was discovered having a fling with “Lois.” No last names are given on those other two individuals, although…you can kind of guess.
In the pre-Flashpoint DC Universe, Lucy eventually married Jimmy’s fellow Daily Planet reporter Ron Troupe, who is not mentioned amid all the shenanigans.
