Valiant Entertainment has provided ComicBook.com with an exclusive first look at the character designs for various heroes and villains of the forthcoming Ninja-K series, launching in November from writer Christos Gage.

The art, seen in the attached image gallery, comes from artists Tomas Giorello, Clayton Henry, and Khari Evans.
The images provided include Ninjak‘s predecessors in the Ninja Programme, codenamed Ninja-A through Ninja-I, as well as Clockwork Woman, Lady Huo, and Madame Charade.
“Colin may be the best at what he does, to borrow a phrase, but he is still a human being,” Gage recently told ComicBook.com. “And there are some things he can’t help have affect him. Among those are the revelations about the Ninja Programme that make Colin look at his own life, and the life his parents led, in a new light.”
Some of the characters will play bigger roles than others in the series, which centers on a villain looking to kill the Ninja Programme members.
At the start of the story, Ninja-K #1 establishes a connection between Colin King (Ninjak) and Ninja-D.
And, yes, Madame Charade is going to be a big deal.
“She’s a 1950’s-era femme fatale, very much the gorgeous vamp who is a deadly killer,” Gage explained. “She’s tied in with Ninja-D…as both arch-enemy and love interest. They are not well adjusted people.”
This relaunch of the series is timed to coincide with Ninjak vs. the Valiant Universe, a webseries that pits the title character against various other Valiant heroes and villains in short combat vignettes centered around a larger narrative about which little is yet known.
Ninjak vs. the Valiant Universe will premiere at New York Comic Con this weekend. Ninja-K #1 will be in stores in November.
