Several of the images depict characters like Green Arrow, Mr. Terrific, and Wild Dog. There are other pictures which show Oliver Queen meeting up with an imprisoned Diggle in jail threads. Last week, the hero and Lyla embarked on a mission to rescue Diggle from the military prison he’s been taken to, leaving Team Arrow behind to showdown with Church when he causes a raucous.
If you want to read the episode’s synopsis, then you can check it out below:
“Oliver and Lyla team up on a secret mission for Diggle. Felicity finds out and disapproves of the plan and opts to stay behind. When Tobias Church launches a deadly assault against the city, Felicity must decide if she wants to send the recruits out sans the Green Arrow.”
The episode is titled “Penance” and was written by Brian Ford Sullivan and Oscar Balderrama. Dermott Downs directed the episode. Sullivan has worked on a previous episodes of Arrow, and Balderrama has written half a dozen.
Newly appointed Mayor Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) finds himself challenged as he fights on two fronts for the future of Star City. With Diggle (David Ramsey) back in the military and Thea adamant about hanging up her hood as Speedy (Willa Holland), Team Green Arrow is down to just Oliver and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) โ but they’re no longer the only vigilantes in town. Green Arrow’s public defeat of Damien Darhk at the end of Season Four has inspired a new crop of masked heroes to step up and defend the city, though their painful inexperience makes them obstacles, rather than allies, in the field. The arrival of a deadly new adversary will force Oliver to confront questions about his own legacy, both as mayor and as the Green Arrow.
Based on the characters from DC, Arrow is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti (“The Flash,” “Supergirl”), Marc Guggenheim (“Eli Stone,” “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters”), Andrew Kreisberg (“The Flash,” “Supergirl”), Wendy Mericle (“Desperate Housewives,” “Eli Stone”) and Sarah Schechter (“Supergirl,” “Blindspot”).
Arrow Season 5 premieres Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
