Armie Hammer might be many fans’ picks to play Green Jordan, but it sounds like he isn’t headed to the DC Extended Universe just yet.
In a recent interview with ET Canada, Hammer insisted that he still hasn’t spoken to Warner Bros. about joining the cinematic universe, potentially in Justice League.

“No, no one’s called me.” Hammer revealed. “No one’s called me. No, nothing.”
Hammer made similar comments about a potential DCEU role back in June, but they haven’t swayed some fans from thinking that he’s nabbed the role. After all, the actor has become known for trolling fans about the subject, beginning in December of last year.
Hammer later walked back his trolling comments, but that hasn’t stopped fansfrom hoping that he will make his debut in Justice League. A few fans have responded to the possibility of him playing Green Lantern pretty creatively, photoshopping him into various posters and scenes from Justice League.
If Hammer doesn’t end up playing Green Lantern, he has expressed interest in taking on another DCEU role. The actor seemed open to playing the role of Billy Batson/Shazam earlier this summer, spawning a fair amount of fanart of him as the character as well. With Shazam! set to be the next DCEU film to enter production, who knows if Hammer will end up being a part of it.
Justice League currently enjoys a 4.20 out of 5 on ComicBook.com’s anticipation rankings. Give it your own rating below ahead of its release on November 17, 2017.
