The Legends of Tomorrow traveled to the future in tonight's episode, and it referenced another iconic superhero along the way.

Spoilers for tonight's episode of Legends of Tomorrow, 'Zari', below!

The episode saw the show's titular team fighting Kuasa (Tracy Ifeachor), who had been sent to 2042 to capture Zari Tomaz (Tala Ashe). Ultimately, the fight culminated in Amaya Jiwe/Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) going toe to toe with Kuasa. During the fight (with her granddaughter, no less) she remarked a pretty memorable line in the process - "I can do this all day."

To fans of comic book media, that line certainly sticks out, as it's usually attributed to Marvel's Steve Rogers/Captain America.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe version of the hero (played by Chris Evans) has said the line several times throughout the years, starting with Captain America: The First Avenger. He first says the line as a pre-super soldier Steve Rogers, who is accosted by a bully in an alleyway.

Later on, when faced with the villainous Red Skull, Steve said the same line, and tugged on tons of heartstrings in the process. The line then re-emerged in last year's Captain America: Civil War, when Steve was fighting his final battle against Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.).

It's unknown if the line is an overt Captain America homage, but it certainly isn't the first time that Legends has drawn inspiration from Marvel. And either way, those familiar words are sure to delight fans of both superhero universes.

Legends of Tomorrow airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on The CW.
