The two-night event will show the network’s heroes – from Supergirl, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Arrow – fighting their evil Earth-X counterparts. While the villains are very sporadically shown in the promo, it’s clear that they don’t come in peace, as they will be crashing the wedding of Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) and Iris West (Candice Patton).
After last year’s well-received ‘Invasion!’ crossover, the newest venture is set to raise the stakes and action even further, something the network’s stars seem to be excited by.
“When we first did the crossover, I guess back in our third season and The Flash‘s first season, it was very much like ‘It’s an episode of The Flash where I show up, and then an episode of Arrow where he shows up.’” Arrow‘s Stephen Amell explained earlier this year. “And even last year, it was like ‘You know, Flash showed up on Supergirl, and then it was an episode of The Flash, an episode of Arrow, and an episode of Legends.’ But this year is just a four-hour movie.”
Much is still unknown about the upcoming event, including its mysterious villains, including former Arrow big bad Prometheus and some sort of evil speedster. But with the crossover’s air date approaching, here’s hoping those questions will be answered soon.
The CW’s ‘Crisis On Earth-X’ will begin on November 27th with Supergirl and Arrow, and will conclude on November 28th with The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.
