Arrow Season 5 Episode 4: Penance Clip Released

It was always going to be a difficult task to train a new group of vigilantes, but Oliver seems to have underestimated just what he's gotten himself into. In the newest clip from the upcoming episode Penance, fans are given a small glimpse of what he's dealing with.

Most of the issues seem to be coming from Wild Dog, who just isn't one for following orders. During a small mission to recover a briefcase from its handler, Oliver, Curtis, Artemis, and Wild Dog are in position, with Artemis set to take the shot. Unfortunately for the group, Wild Dog was feeling a bit left out and decides to take the shot instead.

That would be bad enough, but then he goes and misses the carrier 4 to 5 times, and causes him to run from the scene. Luckily Curtis is able to bumrush him before he runs off, but calling Curtis lucky after the ordeal wouldn't be an apt description, as the target uses his face as a punching bag before Oliver knocks him down to the ground.

It's times like these where Oliver greatly misses his old team, but hopefully, he can get them into fighting shape soon, because there are more deadly enemies right around the corner for them to face, and they won't go down near as easily. If they perform this way against them, they're likely not to come home at all.

You can view the new footage in the clip above, and make sure to check out the other photo stills from the episode in the gallery. The official description is listed below.

Oliver and Lyla team up on a secret mission for Diggle. Felicity finds out and disapproves of the plan and opts to stay behind. When Tobias Church launches a deadly assault against the city, Felicity must decide if she wants to send the recruits out sans the Green Arrow.

Arrow stars Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak), David Ramsey (John Diggle), Echo Kellum (Curtis Holt), and Paul Blackthorne (Quentin Lance).

Arrow airs on The CW Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
