Arrow Season 5: Can’t Be Stopped Extended Trailer Released

There’s a brand new trailer for Arrow out today, and it definitely proves that Oliver Queen can’t be stopped.

Uploaded by The CW, the footage starts off with Felicity and Oliver having a heart-to-heart conversation about the tragic events of Season 4. She tells him that “for the past five months, you’ve been waiting for things to go back to the way things were,” something that Oliver doesn’t deny.

The action-packed clip offers up plenty of footage of Season 5 for fans who are eager to meet the new Team Arrow. Oliver begins training newbies like Curtis Holt, Evelyn Crawford, and street vigilante known as Wild Dog. This trailer gives fans their first good look at Wild Dog complete with his traditional hockey jersey and mask. The character, who goes by the name Jack Wheeler in the comics, was gifted his gritty moniker because of his ferocious, guerrilla tactics.

As for Curtis Holt, it seems the tech genius is going to have some trouble fitting into Team Arrow as a full-fledged member. Fans can see the button-up employee trying and failing to live up to Oliver’s steep expectations, but rest assure – the character will surely make a turnaround once Season 5 heads underway.

The clip ends with a tense scene that shows Oliver tied up by hands of a rough baddie. When the new Team Arrow asks how their leader is fairing, Thea Queen assures the team that “Ollie can take care of himself,” so fans will have to wait and see how the Green Arrow gets himself out of this predicament.

When Season 5 of Arrow returns, there will be plenty of new faces for fans to see. Josh Segarra has signed on to play DA Adrian Chase who moonlights as a vigilante appropriately called Vigilante. Gangster Tobias Church will be played by Chad L. Coleman and SCPD Detective Malone has Tyler Ritter on his side. Carly Pope recently joined the show to play reporter Susan Williams.

When it comes to Team Arrow, Rick Gonzalez and Madison McLaughlin will portray Wild Dog ad Evelyn Crawford – AKA: Artemis – respectively.

Arrow will return to The CW for Season 5 on October 5 2016.
