The first two games in Rocksteady Studios critically-acclaimed Batman: Arkham series, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, were released in 2009 and 2011, respectively, and in that time, visual effects for video games, and the consoles, have continued to improve substantially. With that being said, Rocksteady decided to remaster and re-release those two games as part of their upcoming Batman: Return to Arkham collection.

To show just how much the models, environments, and lighting effects have been upgraded in both games, fans of the series have been putting together side-by-side comparison videos and images.

Batman Return To Arkham will be available for both PS4 and Xbox One on July 26th.
