In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the turning point in Batman and Superman’s relationship comes right as The Dark Knight, who is fueled by an intense rage and determination, is about to impale the Man of Steel with the kryptonite-spear, but before he can do the deed, a weakened and delirious Superman says, “Save Martha.” Since Martha is the name of Bruce Wayne’s long-deceased mother, the mere mention of her name is enough to stop him in his tracks, giving Lois Lane enough time to explain that Martha is also the name of Superman’s mother.

After that, Superman explains to Batman that Lex Luthor wanted the two of them to fight and used his mother, who was taken hostage, as leverage. Lois then informs them that something is amiss with the Kryptonian scout ship in Metropolis and Lex is probably to blame. Superman would like to go deal with that but saving his mother comes first. Knowing that Superman is better suited to deal with the scout ship issue, Batman promises that he’ll save Martha. Thus, a friendship between the two is born.

Now the Facebook page, Celine a Scene, has made that moment even more heartwarming by adding Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On,” which was the theme song for James Cameron’s Titanic and won the 1997 Academy Award for Best Original Song.
