Buried in the special features listings on the Wonder Woman Blu-ray comes an exciting piece of news: Lucy Davis will reprise her role as Etta Candy in an “Epilogue” to the film, which will likely also feature guest appearances by other Wonder Woman actors.

Titled Etta’s Mission, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment says “Etta Candy gets the boys back together for a secret mission that could impact humanity’s future.”
No further information is available, so it could be anything from a single scene with no additional repercussions to a short film in the vein of Marvel’s One-Shot mini-movies, which used to come on Blu-rays of their early movies.
Davis, better known for her comedic work on projects like The Office and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, played Candy, Steve Trevor’s secretary. While she took on numerous military responsibilities in the film, she seemed ill-at-ease with them, so the idea of her organizing an important mission seems like an idea filled with both character growth and potential for humor.
It also may set up what, if any, role her character and other supporting Wonder Woman characters may have in future DC Extended Universe movies.
ComicBook.com has reached out to Warner Bros. for additional details. If we receive any additional information, this story will be updated.
