Batman Unlimited: Mechs vs. Mutants is exactly what it sounds like: a Batman and Kaiju (giant monster) genre mash-up that puts Batman (and Green Arrow) in giant robot armor and has him fight over-sized, monstrous versions of his villains. In this exclusive new clip from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, some of Batman’s worst villains assemble within the walls of Arkham Asylum to head out and terrorize Gotham City once again.

Penguin and Mr. Freeze were the first out, and they systematically break out Bane, Chemo, Killer Croc, and Clayface. If that doesn’t make you instantly start to anticipate how all those characters will look when they’re giant Kaiju, you might want to check your pulse.
The Batman Unlimited series of animated films takes a new look at Batman, telling individual stories using outrageous situations and his classic supporting cast of heroes and villains. Roger Craig Smith stars as Batman, with Chris Diamantopoulos as Green Arrow, Will Friedle as Nightwing, Charlie Schlatter as The Flash, and Lucien Dodge as Robin. On the villain side, this film brings in Oded Fehr as Mr. Freeze, Dana Snyder (yes, from Aqua Teen) as The Penguin, Carlos Alazraqui as Bane, John DiMaggio as Killer Croc, Dave B Mitchell as Clayface and Troy Baker returning as The Joker, reuniting with Smith in their roles from Batman: Arkham Origins. Phil LaMarr joins as Dr. Langstrom (aka Man-Bat).
Curt Ceda produces and directs Mechs vs. Mutants from a script by Kevin Burke and Chris “Doc” Wyatt. The movie is the third in the Batman Unlimited movie line, and will be accompanied by new toys and merchandise bringing the characters to kids’ (and kids-at-heart’s) collections.
Batman Unlimited: Mechs Vs. Mutants is available today on DVD and Digital HD.
