You’ll notice that Jerome has staples running across his forehead and circles around his eyes. It’s a look that fans of DC’s New 52 will surely recognize. In Tony Daniel and Scott Snyder/Greg Capullo’s runs on Batman, The Joker allowed Dollmaker to cut off his face. He then wore his decomposing face as a mask, securing it to his melon with staples.
And as we all know, even though he was murder by Theo Galavan last season, Jerome is still the show’s leading candidate to become The Clown Prince of Crime. It’s something the show and the actor โ whose voice sounds like an amalgamation of Heath Ledger, Jack Nicholson, and Mark Hamill’s Jokers โ constantly play up.
Falcone places a hit on Gordon after learning that he shot Mario. Gordon and Bullock discover a follower of Jerome (Cameron Monaghan), who plans to bring him back to life. Meanwhile, Penguin spirals out of control before the biggest television interview of his Mayoral career, and Bruce and Selina deal with Selina’s mom’s return to Gotham.
Guest Cast: Ivana Milicevic as Maria Kyle, Paul Reubens as Elijah Van Dahl, Cameron Monaghan as Jerome Valeska, John Doman as Carmine Falcone, David Dastmalchian as Dwight Pollard, PJ Marshall as Cole Clemons, Jan Maxwell as Margaret Hearst, and Dave Quay as Tarquin.
