You can now pre-order “Wonder Woman: The Junior Novel,” a movie tie-in book written by Steve Korte and for 6-10 year olds. It’ll hit store shelves on Tuesday, May 30, which is three days before Warner Bros. released Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot‘s eagerly-awaited film across the globe.

To promote the book, its cover has been released, and it features a mid-action shot of Wonder Woman staring at an unseen opponent. She’s clutching and pointing her sword with her right hand, while her other hand holds her shield out in front of her โ ready to deflect any attack that comes her way.
“To the outside world, Diana Prince is just a regular woman. But that’s not who she truly is. Diana is an Amazon princess from the island of Themyscira,” reads the book’s official description. “She is also Wonder Woman. From a secret hidden island to the frontlines of battle, Diana is ready for the role of a lifetime โ to become the hero the world needs most.
“Based on the major motion picture, this hardcover edition of ‘Wonder Woman: The Junior Novel’ retells the exciting story of Diana’s journey to become one of the world’s greatest heroes and features eight pages of full-color images from the film.”
Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powersโฆand her true destiny.
Joining Gadot in the international cast are Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner and Saรฏd Taghmaoui. Patty Jenkins directs the film from a screenplay by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, story by Zack Snyder and Allan Heinberg, based on characters from DC Entertainment. Wonder Woman was created by William Moulton Marston.
The film is produced by Charles Roven, Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder and Richard Suckle, with Rebecca Roven, Stephen Jones, Wesley Coller and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers. Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with RatPac-Dune Entertainment, an Atlas Entertainment/Cruel and Unusual production, Wonder Woman.
The film will be released on June 2, 2017.
